People who start a business often say it’s what they learned after everything they learned in school that makes the difference between the success or failure of their company. What the Center does is reverse that comment by ensuring what students learn and experience while in college is what makes them successful in the future. The Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurship education resource that provides classes, coaching and assistance to entrepreneurs. It builds relationships among and between CSB/SJU students, faculty, alumnae/i, and community members to create and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit.
Social Entrepreneurs and future nonprofit leaders assisted by the Center

Volunteer of the Year 2007-2008 Academic Year : Lisa Maurer
Each year we celebrate all of our mentors and the work they do with the students and the center. The students voted which volunteer that they thought was the most helpful. Lisa Maurer was selected as the most helpful to the most students in 2007-08. Read Lisa's story.
In the spring of 2008 twelve students completed the third E-Scholars program. Students completing the program are: Colin Dart, Sam Dorr, Jon Goodman, Emily Karnas, Susan Lipp, Matt Steele, Nicole Nelson, Eduardo Vallarino, Michael Thomas, Abby Stahl, Martins Kronbergs and Jeffery Sandager. We Welcome our Newest Group of Entrepreneurial Scholars
Our fifth co-hort of E-scholars have been choosen. We welcome them to the program!
