Elizabeth Dingmann 2006
I currently work in the publishing industry as a Project Manager for Augsburg Fortress Publishers and as a freelance editor. I'm about to graduate from Hamline University with an MFA in Writing, and I recently concluded a fellowship with Commons Magazine serving as their managing editor for their year-long poetry series, UNCOMMON/WORD.
I was first drawn to pursue a career in publishing during my first creative writing class at St. Ben's, and I use my English degree every single day. Whether I'm selecting poems for publication or proofreading a novel or writing a poem of my own, there's no denying that my English degree is the foundation of my career.
