Expectations For Students

  • Attend the Service-Learning Fair if required by course professor.
  • Commit to community partner and begin project within first three weeks of semester.
  • Participate in project consistently throughout entire semester
    (ie- weekly or as otherwise agreed upon with community partner).
  • Complete necessary paperwork for Service-Learning Department and community partner.
  • Notify site supervisor with schedule changes in advance.
  • Understand options for transportation to sites (Carpool, Mini-Bus). 
  • Document project weekly on public folders (if required by professor).
  • Participate in reflection and complete assessment.
  • Complete evaluation of project.
  • Understand the purpose and importance of service-learning both personally and communally.
