Students accepted into Teacher Education will be retained in their program so long as they have adhered to the Education Department's Guiding Principles, have maintained all Teacher Education Standards, and completed all other licensure requirements in a timely manner.

Students who fail to maintain the Teacher Education Standards, or who fail to make reasonable progress toward completion of their program, or who violate the Education Department's Guiding Principles may be placed on probation or even terminated from the program.  Students on probation or terminated from the program may not be admitted to the Teaching Internship without the approval of the Hearing Committee.
