  2. SCULPTURE - ART 119 (counts as an introductory Sculpture studio course)
  3. FIBER ARTS - EDUC 340 (introductory Fiber Arts is covered in this Education requirement)

Licensure Area State Tests

In addition to fulfilling the Basic Skills testing requirement at admission to the Department (see "Apply to the Program"), students seeking to be licensed as art educators must complete the following:

Pedagogy

Student may choose either the elementary (grades K-6) or secondary (grades 5-12) pedagogy exam, depending on the students they expect to work with most.

Content

Students must complete the Visual Arts K-12 content exam.
