Placement

The CSB Career Services Office provides several services for both CSB and SJU Education students.  They supply information about employment, including both temporary summer employment and full-time teaching opportunities. The Career Services Office conducts information sessions and classes explaining resumés, correspondence, cover letters, and interview skills.  They also provide lists of current job openings that are available to students after opening their credential file.

 The information and forms necessary to open a credential file can be obtained from the Career Services Office, Academic Services Building, College of Saint Benedict.  All Education students will use  the office at the College of Saint Benedict.  It is advisable to open your file early.  Many of the forms can be filled out and taken care of before you begin student teaching.  Once your file is open, you may use it for summer jobs or other employment while at college.
