Liability Insurance Coverage Information

Students working with children, youth, or in a school for pedagogy classes, field experiences, and/or student teaching, are required by Minnesota State Law to have liability insurance coverage. This coverage may be obtained from EMSP (Education Minnesota Student Program) through the Education Club at CSB/SJU.  Forms are available at the Education Department desk (HAB 125).

Cost

Part of the dues go to the EMSP State Organization and part to the CSB/SJU Education Club.  The amount varies from year to year, but is currently at $28.00 per year.  The coverage is in effect from date of purchase until the next August 1.
