Plan One

For an entering first-year student who intends to be an Economics major at the outset, as well as for a student whose interest in Economics arises and develops during the first year of college studies. The critical feature of this plan is that Econ 111 and the calculus course (Math 119 or 123) are completed by the end of the first year.

1st year	Econ 111 -- either semester Math 119 or 118/123 -- either semester If Econ 111 in fall, Tier II Econ in Spring
2nd year	Econ 332 -- Fall Math 124 -- Fall Tier II Econ (if not previously taken) -- either semester Econ 333 -- Spring Econ 334 -- Spring
3rd year	One or two Tier III Econ -- either semester
4th year	Remaining Tier III Econ(s) -- either semester Econ 384 – either semester
