What inspired you to become an economics major?
I began college majoring in biology and focused on getting my prerequisites completed for medical school, but I enjoyed the first economics class that I took. In deciding a major, I wanted something that gave me freedom to choose from multiple careers in the job market. Economics offered me the freedom and stability I was looking for in a major.
What did you find most valuable at CSB/SJU?
My relationship with the economics department faculty was my most valuable experience at CSB/SJU. I could tell that my professors wanted me to succeed, and their doors were always open to talk about class work or to give guidance when I was having a difficult time choosing my career path.
