Delivery/Pickup Schedule (Monday through Friday)

  • Mail may be sent postage free to any office or student mailbox on either CSB or SJU campus through the inner campus mail system.
  • Mail at CSB is delivered twice per day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. During the Summer and academic breaks, there is only morning mail route.
  • Mail delivery begins at 10:00 a.m. for the morning route and 1:25 p.m. for the afternoon route.
  • Saint John's picks up and delivers intercampus mail every weekday at approximately 11:30 a.m.
  • Between morning and afternoon mail routes, departmental mail may be picked up and dropped off at the CSB Copy/Mail center located in Mary Commons.
  • Outgoing U.S. mail leaves the mail center at approximately 2:45 p.m.

Outgoing U.S Mail

  • Outgoing/Stamped mail that is collected will be processed and delivered to the U.S. Post Office the same day.
  • Departmental mail metering can be charged to a campus budget number. We CAN NOT meter personal mail or charge postage to student or staff ID numbers.
  • Please have all outgoing mail in the mailroom by 2:30. If you are sending out a large quantity of mail, please bring it early in the day if possible. We would also appreciate advanced notice of any large quantity mailings. Please call our office at extension #5072.
  • It is helpful to have International pieces separated from your other U.S. mail.
  • Mail that is already stamped can be brought to our office or sent through campus mail to be sent out that same day.

Inter-department Mailing Envelopes

  • You are encouraged to use and re-use interdepartmental mailing envelopes (for campus use only). There is no need to purchase these envelopes. You can make your own cover sheet by printing out the following one page form and taping it to any large envelope you receive.
  • If you need large envelopes please email the Copy/Mail center or stop on in (Monday through Friday 8:00-3:00)
  • Remember to provide a complete address i.e. name, department, and campus.
