CSB Support Staff Committee Meeting
Wednesday, October 19, 2005
1:15 pm, Rainbow Room

Present: Jeanne Terres, Jackie Gertken, Joan Ellering, Tina Kortenbusch, Joan Supan, Terri Johnson, Trish Doran, Karen Storkamp, Rhonda Mielke and Barb Ries.

Minutes:  August and September minutes were approved.

Joint Benefit Committee:  Judy Eggert presented to the committee on changes in benefits.  The Joint Benefit Committee has approved coverage for physicals and pre-cancer screenings at the rate of $250 instead of $100.  A motion to approve 100% coverage for all mammograms was also passed.   Both of these issues now move on to the CFO’s.  The Support Staff Committee asked Judy approach Joint Benefits and bring up the issue of being reimbursed (some amount) of a membership to a health club. We also discussed tuition remission and are waiting to hear more from Judy on any changes.

Professional Development Report: No new applications.

Support Staff Committee Changes:  Karen Storkamp will replace Bev Overman and Barb Ries will replace Tonya Carlson.

Anniversary Gifts:  The response to the meal certificates has been positive. 

Craft Sale-Nov. 16:  There are currently 23 vendors signed up for a total of 27 tables.  With a Support Staff table and a table for the Farmer’s Marker, we will have 29 tables at the Craft Sale. 

The cookies and drinks are ordered and Jeanne has the entertainment lined up for the event.

Miscellaneous: We reviewed the information that Tina has prepared to send out to employees detailing the employee benefits and describing our committee.

 The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm.
