Support Staff Committee Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, December 18, 2002
1:15 p.m. ASB Conference Room
Present: Jane Schulzetenberg, Keith Matthies, Jeanne Terres, Mary Niedenfuer, Bev Overman Tonya Carlson, Bev Radaich, Jackie Miller, Terri Johnson
Absent: Andrew Deuhs, Joyce Honer, Mary Kay Luethmers, Jackie Gertken, Kristina Kortenbusch, Mary Niedenfuer
The meeting began at 1:20 p.m.
I. Minutes- The Nov.20th minutes were approved.
II. Old Business
A. Bev R thanked the people for the response on the questionnaire( about the insurance benefits)
B. What is full time with benefits:
- .75 (part time) =1,566 hr a year
- 12 months- 30 hrs a week
- 9 months-40 hrs a week
- Full time =2,088 hr a year
If you do not have enough hours 1 year you are called in to make sure you have enough the following year.
C. Shannon Altrich-Olson did receive her funding from the Professional Development.
D. Professional Development Committee

As of Nov 20th we have $4,553.96

Bev was wondering if we could set aside some of the $5,000 for speakers to be used by CSB or shared with St. Johns. Bev O will ask Sue Palmer if we could do that. And if we can have a speaker & luncheon, the committee would pick up the cost of part of the meal.

Or maybe assist other groups in the funding

The application – Jackie and Jeanne will make a rough draft and send it E-mail

3 members – Chair person would be from the support staff committee

The support staff committee would set guidelines and perimeters

Ask your people in your area to see if they would like to be on this Committee. And if we get more than 2 voluntaries, we will pick from hat

Terri volunteered to be our member
III. New Business
A. Compensation Committee.
B. Spring Luncheon-we would like to have it with St. Johns, Bev will call Carol to see if they would be interested. It would be in March early April
