High School: A 2007 graduate of Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School, Kelly was coached by Heidi Collins … participated in volleyball for six years during athletic career at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School … was an All-North Suburban Conference selection in volleyball her junior and senior seasons … received All-State and All-North Suburban Conference Academic honors … recorded 190 digs and 196 kills during her senior season … member of the Benilde-St. Margaret’s volleyball that were Section 5-3A runners-up her sophomore year.

Personal: Daughter of Jean and Joe Kelly of Plymouth, Minn. … mother Jean is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict … father Joe is a graduate of Saint John’s University … received Regents’ and Trustees’ Scholarships … enjoys golfing, downhill skiing, reading, outdoor activities, and drawing … majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-veterinarian or pre-medical studies.

Proudest moment of her volleyball career: “My proudest moment came in our match against top-seeded Hopkins my junior year in the Section 5-3A semifinals. We lost in five hard-fought games, but it was still great to finish our season playing an all-out match.”

Why did you decide to attend the College of Saint Benedict? “I love the atmosphere at Saint Benedict. I love that there is an emphasis of community on the campus.”
