1991 Season Review

After overcoming early season struggles and the Blazers began developing consistency as the year progressed.  The volleyball team (25-8 overall, 13-1 MIAC) once again proved that there were "no limits" to the team's success.  Sharing the MIAC title with St. Thomas, the Blazers marked the third consecutive year that they have either won or shared the championship.  For the sixth year in a row, the Blazers earned the opportunity to play in NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.

The team's commitment, energy, determination and outstanding leadership played a key role in continuing the winning Blazers volleyball tradition.  The Blazers tied for fifth place in the nation in the final rankings.

Chris Muehlbauer became CSB's first back-to-back Academic All-American. Muehlbauer was also named Academic All-American Player of the Year and All-MIAC.

Lynn Gustafson and Mary Fehring earned All-MIAC honors.
