1989 Season Review

The 1989 Blazer volleyball season (29-5 overall, 16-0 MIAC) ended with a  MIAC Championship, a fourth straight NCAA Regional Tournament bid, one victory shy of a Final Four appearance.  More than 800 CSB fans stood in appreciation for a "job well done" as CSB hosted the NCAA Division III Central Regional Volleyball Tournament.  The Blazers lost to eventual National Champions, Washington University.

Niki Denne took home honors of MIAC Player of the Year, All-MIAC and All-American.  Amy Hagen earned All-American and All-MIAC honors.  Mary Kuklock also was named to the All-MIAC team.
