Jaynes Named All-American Honorable Mention

The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team's sophomore outside hitter Emma Jaynes (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing High School) was honored on the 2007 Amercian Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) All-America team. Jaynes was selected as a Honorable Mention. She is one of only four MIAC players named by the AVCA to any level of the All-America team. Jaynes finished the season with 3.57 kills and 4.47 digs per game. She also finished with a team-leading .232 hitting percentage and 22 double-doubles. Jaynes and the Blazers finished the season with a 22-11 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Division III national tournament.
