Jaynes Named to All-Region Team

The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team's sophomore outside hitter Emma Jaynes (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing High School) was named to the All-Central Region team. Players selected for the team represented four midwest conferences: the MIAC (Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Association), IIAC (Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association), GPAC (Great Plains Athletic Conference), and UAA (University Athletic Association). Jaynes was one of 11 players from the region that earned this award. She is currently averaging 3.54 kills and 4.46 digs per game for CSB. Jaynes and the Blazers take on Bethel at 3:30 p.m. today (Nov. 8) in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
