Blazers Crack Top 25 in Time for NCAA Tourney

The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (8-3 MIAC, 21-10 overall) is named to the Week 9 AVCA Division III Top 25. The Blazers came in at No. 24 in the nation when voting took place this week. This marks the first time CSB volleyball has been ranked nationally this season. The Blazers joined the likes of four other MIAC teams currently in the top 25, all of which will be competing in the NCAA tournament beginning Nov. 8. CSB's first-round opponent, Bethel, was selected as No. 23, just one spot ahead of the Blazers.

It will be No. 2 and No.4 of the MIAC and No. 24 and No. 23 in the country when the Blazers take on Bethel in the first-round of the NCAA national tournament on Thursday afternoon at St. Thomas.
