Hanson Named MIAC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore setter Beth Hanson (Fairbault, Minn. / Bethlehem Academy) was selected as the MIAC Setter/Libero of the Week. Her performance in the week prior to Sept. 24, 2007 led the Blazers to victories over St. Catherine and Augsburg. The Blazers defeated both teams in just three games. Hanson recorded a double-double in each of the matches – 49 set-assists and 17 digs versus St. Kate’s and 43 assists and 11 digs against the Auggies. Hanson compiled her 92 set-assists in just six games played, giving her an outstanding average of 15.33 assists per game for CSB. She also averaged just less than one service ace and 4.67 digs each game last week.
