High School: A 2007 graduate of Lourdes high school, Torchia was coached by Mike Kesler...participated in cross country for six years, track and field for four years and nordic skiing for four years during her athletic career at Lourdes...Four year letter winner in track and field and cross country, three year letter winner in nordic skiing...track and field and cross country all conference and was a cross country state participant.
Personal: Daughter of Tish and Mike Torchia of Rochester, Minn...proudest moment of her track and field career was breaking her goal in the 800m and becoming an all conference runner in high school...enjoys anything outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends...majoring in pre-med or education.
What do you like about being a collegiate student athlete? "It exposes me to a wonderful set of new people that share the same passion as I do...all the while challenging me physically and pushing me to discover just how far I can go with the Blazers!"
