High School: A 2007 graduate of Lac qui Parle Valley high school, Brown was coached by Sheri Hansen...participated in tennis for four years, track and field for four years, basketball for two years and was on the dance team for two years during her athletic career at Lac qui Parle Valley...Was tennis all conference 2 years and was the section runner up for 2 years...was part of a championship track team and were conference champions one year.
Personal: Daughter of Becky Brown...proudest moment of her track and field career was making it to the state tournament her senior year...enjoys all sports, going to movies, hanging out with friends and watching "Scrubs" and "Arrested Development"... majoring in psychology and gender women's studies.
What do you like about being a collegiate student athlete? "It keeps me busy and I like to compete. The people on the track team are all awesome people and awesome athletes. They are really fun to be around."
