Ashley Irons

First-Year...Middle Distance...Twin Falls, ID...Twin Falls H.S.

High School: A 2007 gradute of Twin Falls high school, Irons was coached by Coach Kleinkopf...participated in track and field for four years, basketball for four years, volleyball for two years and cross country for a year during her athletic career at Twin Falls...was named to first all conference team in basketball her senior year, was named second all conference team in cross country in 2006 and was a state medalist in four events in track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Lynn and Steve Irons of Twin Falls, ID...her proudest moment of her track and field career was placing third in the 300m hurdles at the state track and field meet...enjoys running, hiking, rockclimbing, camping, anything outdoors, music, history, being with the people I love and humor...majoring in History with a minor in peace studies.

What do you like about being a collegiate student athlete? "I love working hard for myself and my teammates and being part of such a positive group of people who strive to work just as hard for themselves and their teammates."
