1992 Season Review

What a difference a year makes!  Last spring the CSB indoor and outdoor track and field teams came in seventh and eighth place respectively in the conference, while in the 1992 edition track and field program ran, jumped and threw their way to a pair of fourth place finishes this year.

Following the indoor season junior Katy Deignan, Monroe, Wis., and senior Gretchen Terhaar, Brooten, MN, earned the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championships-a first for any CSB track and field athlete.   Deignan also became the Blazers first conference champion, when she captured the 800 meter crown in a record-shattering time of 2:18.49.
