2005 Season Review

On your marks ... get set ... Go! The 2005 Blazer track and field season was marked with large amounts of success both in team and individual competition. Perhaps the greatest feat of the year was the 4x100 relay team of senior Sarah Nezworski, juniors Patti Clintsman and Bethany Keene, and sophomore Jennifer Dalhed racing to All-American status at the NCAA National Championship Meet held in Waverly, Iowa. The 4x100 team had a thing about breaking records and breaking them almost every time they set foot on the track. The relay team finished third in the finals tying for the College of Saint Benedict's best finish in a relay or individual event at the National Championship meet. Junior Jenna Wendorff also competed at the NCAA Championship meet in the shot put.

Saint Ben's track and field also had a large number of representatives on the All-Conference team. Jenna Wendorff, Leah Wurm, Kristina Granger, Patti Clintsman, Bethany Keene, Jennifer Dalhed, Jennifer Hanson, and Meghan Orgeman were all selected to the All-MIAC track and field team.
