The College of Saint Benedict women's track team traveled to Moorhead to compete in the Masanz Invitational. The Blazers took sixth place with 54 total team points. "It was a big, competitive meet" commented head coach Robin Balder-Lanoue.
First-year Jillian Daleidan (Blaine, Minn./Blaine) continues to shine on the track and took a second place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.05. Fellow first-year, Rebecca Arnhalt (Wolverton, Minn./Breckenridge) took third place in the 3,000 meter steeple chase with a time of 12.45.22. Senior Kristin Haubrich (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee) finished the 1,500 meter in 4:47.22 giving her a fifth place finish, while teammate senior, Kaylee Rasmussen (Waconia, Minn./Waconia) took eighth place in the event. First-year Abby Neigebauer (Waseca, Minn./Waseca) also took fifth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.69. Senior Annie Clintsman (Maplewood, Minn./Hill-Murray) took eighth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.27. In the 400 meter junior Patty King (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall) took eighth place in the 400 meter dash.
The Blazers compete in the MIAC outdoor track and field championship Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th.
