05/02/2008 - Ashley Aggen competed in day two of the MIAC Heptathlon and finished in sixth place for the day with a total of 2,957 points. Aggen ended up finishing the 100 meter hurdles in second place, fifth place in the shot put, 200 meter dash and the javelin throw and sixth place in the 600 meter and the high jump. Full Text…

05/01/2008 - After day one of the MIAC Heptathlon, Blazer’s Ashley Aggen is sitting at sixth place. Aggen finished second place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.39, fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 26-9 1/4 and 200 meter dash with a time of 28.91 and sixth place in the high jump with a jump of 4-0 (1.22m). 04/30/2008 - The College of Saint Benedict track and field team returned from St. Thomas, after competing in the Tommie Twilight and has nothing to hang their heads about. “At least ninety percent of the team got a personal best” commented head coach Robin Balder-Lanoue. “We had many great performances.” Full Text…

04/19/2008 - The College of Saint Benedict track and field team traveled to Northfield for the Manitou Classic, and had many things to lift their heads about. Many Blazers finished in the top ten, “which is a huge thing, this was a large meet”; commented head coach Robin Balder-Lanoue. Full Text…

03/29/2008 - The Blazer track and field team began their outdoor season with a second place finish on their home track by finishing with a team total of 108.5 points, finishing behind the University of Minnesota Duluth. 03/08/2008 - The final day of the MIAC Track and Field Championships showed great results for the Blazers, as they finished in 5th place with a team total of 75 points. The Blazers took top spots in the distance events, as well as in the relay events. Day one of the MIAC Championship, the Medley Relay broke a school record by almost eight seconds. 02/12/2008 - The Blazers track and field team broke a school record this weekend along with taking first place at the SCSU Husky Open this weekend. The Distance Medley Relay won and broke the school record by 11 seconds, finishing with a time of 12:36.90.
