2008 Women’s Walk a SUCCESS!

Nearly 400 people participated in the second annual CSB Women’s Walk last Sunday, April 27th to support Blazer athletics and recreation.  Between cash sponsorships, gift in kind, donations and walkers the Walk raised a grand total of $39,000!

"The entire event was a huge success, and extremely rewarding for everyone involved" said CSB athletic director Carol Howe-Veenstra "the excitement, visibility and contributions generated for our athletic and campus recreation departments showed a 30% growth from the first Women's Walk a year ago.  We especially appreciate all of our sponsors, especially gold level Bernick’s Pepsi"

CSB has already begun planning the third annual Women’s Walk for Sunday, April 26th, 2009.
