Tennis Team Splits Against UND and Augustana

The College of Saint Benedict tennis team split back to back matches against the University of North Dakota and Augustana College Saturday at Gold’s Gym. The Blazers redeemed themselves following a 9-0 loss to UND with a solid 5-4 win over Augustana.

Against Augustana CSB picked up singles wins from sophomore Christine Long (North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View) in third singles, first-years Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, S.D/ Washington) and Elissa Husby (Duluth, Minn./Marshall).

Long and Huether picked up the lone doubles win, a 8-2 decision in the second doubles match.

The Blazers will be back on the court Tuesday at Gold’s Gym for a match against Minnesota-Morris.
