Junior ... Backstroke/Freestyle ... Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids)

2005-2006: One of the top sprint freestylers and backstrokers for the Blazers...has many years of college competition...a captain of this year's team.

2004-2005: Member of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams and 200 and 400 medley relay teams...at MIAC Championships placed fourth in the 100 backstroke and sixth in the 200 backstroke.

2003-2004: An All-MIAC selection … swam a career best in the 50-yard freestyle (0:24.58), 100-yard backstroke (1:00.24), and 200-yard backstroke (2:13.04) at the conference meet (Feb. 12, 2004).

High School: A 2003 graduate of Grand Rapids High School, Skrbec was coached by Jerry Casey … participated in swimming and diving for six years … also competed in softball … Northern Minnesota Swimmer of the year (2002) … team Captain (2002) … All-State selection (2000, 2001, 2002) … section champion in the 50-yard freestyle (2001, 2002) … All-Area selection (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002).

Personal: Daughter of Carey and John Skrbec of Grand Rapids … numerous family members have attended CSB/SJU indluding mother, father, and sister … enjoys outdoor activities … majoring in Biology.
