Katie Lambert

First-Year ... freestyle ... Broomfield, Colo. (Holy Family)

2007-2008: Katie has already got her coaches talking about the multi-talented young woman.  She is a focused training swimmer, so the staff is looking forward to seeing her in action in meets.  Her freestyle and even her backstroke have allowed her to step into a leadership role on the team.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colo. ...  participated in swimming (4 years) and tennis (4 years) ... All-conference in swimming (4 years) and tennis (3 years) ... senior captain in swimming and tennis.

Personal: Daughter of Sonia and Tom Lambert of Broomfield, Colo. ... enjoys horseback riding, skiing, spending time with friends and family and Grey's Anatomy ...  proudest moment of swimming career was a top ten state finish as a junior in high school ... majoring in nursing

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? "I like the oppurtunity to compete but still stay serious about my academics.
