Ann Koller

Sophomore… Distance… St. Louis Park, Minn. (St. Louis Park)

2007-2008: Ann had an impressive conference meet last season, dropping 33 seconds in the mile and competing on the 800 freestyle relay for the Blazers.  She will return with one season of college swiming to her name and will use that expertise to make an even bigger impact on the MIAC this season.

2006-2007:  The Blazers look to Ann to add depth in the middle distance freestyle events.  A training workaholic in the pool, Ann enjoys challenging herself in new events.  She brings out the best in herself and her team members as she challenges them to new goals.

High School: A 2006 graduate of St. Louis Park High School, Koller was coached by Jake Schweitering … participated in swimming (four years) and synchronized swimming (six years) during her athletic career at St. Louis Park High School … was an All-North Suburban honorable mention selection in swimming and synchronized swimming … Academic All-North Suburban Conference selection in swimming and synchronized swimming … All-Conference and All-State selection in synchronized swimming … Member of the St. Louis Park synchronized swimming team that were North Suburban Conference Champions, Section Champions and State Champions all in the same season.

Personal: Daughter of Eunice Slager and David Koller of St. Louis Park, Minn. … enjoys swimming, reading, pending time with family and excercising… proudest moment of her swimming career is enjoying her career since swimming is such a big part of Koller's life … major is history and French.

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “I love being involved with school activities and swimming is a great way for me to get involved. It is a lot of fun to be a member of a team and it also helps me manage my time."
