Senior ... Backstroke ... Maplewood (Harding)

2007-2008: Amanda also studied abroad in Greece and Italy last year during the first semester but came back to the team ready to score points at the conference meet.

2006-2007: Developed into an all-around talent for our team … can bring in points for CSB in any event … always ready for any challenge.

2005-2006: Competed in backstroke, IM, and distance events this season … finished 17th at the MIAC Championships in the 1650-yard freestyle and 15th in the 200 backstroke |

2004-2005: Impressive in the individual medley and stroke events … will make a great 400 individual medley swimmer.

High School: A 2004 graduate of  St. Paul Harding High School, Yaritz was coached by Jessica Angell .. participated in swimming (four years) during her athletic career at Harding … voted team MVP in 10th and 12th grade … earned all-conference honors four times.

Personal: Daughter of Shannon and Dennis Yaritz of Maplewood, Minn. … enjoys puzzles, reading, tennis and shopping … proudest moment of her swimming and diving career was receiving all-conference honors four times during her prep career … majoring in biology
