2007-2008: a fierce competitor in both one and three meter competitions, Steph brings her grace and fluid lines to the Blazer diving squad.
2006-2007: Scores well on both the one- and three-meter boards … has nice lines and difficulty in her dives.
2005-2006: Competed in both one- and three-meter competitions … finished seventh in the three-meter diving event at the MIAC Championships.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Chaska High School, Johnson was coached by Joy Grobe … participated in swimming and diving (six years) and track and field (four years) during her athletic career at Chaska … voted MVP by her swim team three years in a row … captained her swimming and diving team … four-time letter winner for both swimming and diving and track and field.
Personal: Daughter of Karen and David Johnson of Chaska, Minn. … enjoys diving, eating, spending time with friends, lakes, camping and road trips … proudest moment of her swimming career is overcoming the fears Johnson originally faced in diving to push herself further and adapt to a new stlye of coaching and performing … majoring in communication.
