Swimming and Diving Announces Awards, Captains

Following a successful 2007-2008 swimming and diving campaign, head coach Kathy Walker has announced the season’s award winners as well as next season's captains.

Senior Kaelly Simpson (left) was named the team’s Most Valuable. Simpson set records in the 1000 yard freestyle, 400 I.M, and 800 freestyle relay during the 2007-08 season. Fellow senior Sarah Christianson was selected Most Improved, while Nikki Reed was selected by Walker for the Coaches’ Award.

Juniors Alison Pagliaccetti and Becca Schleicher were named captains for 2008-09. First-year Katie Lambert and sophomore Chelsea Jenson were picked to represent swimming and diving for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
