CSB Takes Fourth at MIAC Championships

 The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team captured fourth place overall at the MIAC swimming and diving championship Saturday. The Blazers tallied three top five finishes en route to a fourth place overall finish. CSB scored 447 points while Gustavus Adolphus won the team crown with 697.5 points. 

 Abby Brau (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) took third in the 1650 freestyle. Junior Kelly Matzen (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie)  took fifth place in the 100 freestyle.

The 400 freestyle relay team of Matzen, juniors Alison Pagliaccetti (Virginia, Minn./Virginia), Becca Schleicher (Avon, Minn./Albany) and Brooke Johnson (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech) clinched fourth place.
