Blazers Compete at Minnesota Challenge

The College of Saint Benedict swimming and diving team notched three top ten finishes against division I and II competition at the Minnesota Challenge in Minneapolis, Minn. 

First-year Blair Brookman (Lake Elmo, Minn./Stillwater) took sixth place in 1650 freestyle.

Brookman teamed with sophomores Ann Koller (St. Louis Park, Minn./ St. Louis Park), Lindsey Holm (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Inver Grove Heights) and senior Sunleaf Hinton (New Lisbon, Wis./New Lisbon for fifth in the 800 freestyle relay. 

Hinton and Koller teamed with sophomore Heidi Golliet (Coon Rapids, Minn./ Coon Rapids) and first-year Katie Merkley (Eagan, Minn./Eastview) to wrap up ninth in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Blazers will culminate their 2007-2008 season next week at the MIAC Championship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
