Nowak and Simpson Picked as Co-Athletes of the Week

The College of Saint Benedict athletic department has selected co-athletes of the week for January 15, 2008.

Kaelly Simpson – senior – Swimming and Diving – Plano, Texas – Frisco
Simpson was incredible helping the Blazers to a second place finish at the CSB/SJU Winter Invitational Saturday, Jan 14. Simpson won the 1650 yard freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 400 IM.

Christi Nowak – sophomore – Nordic Skiing – Dayton, Minn. – Rogers
Nowak led the Blazers to a second place finish at the Saint’s Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 14. Nowak paced CSB taking fifth place overall finishing in 18:12.
