Robin Balder-Lanoue is the College of Saint Benedict Cross Country and Track & Field head coach. Under her direction, the Blazer Cross Country team has placed as high as 5th in the Central Region and 3th in the MIAC. Prior to coming to Saint Ben's, Balder-Lanoue was a math teacher and coach at Monticello High School. She has her Master's degree in education. Balder-Lanoue attended St. Ben's as a student-athlete where she competed in both Cross Country and Track & Field. Balder-Lanoue is still actively competing in road races across the country.
Tim Miles graduated from Saint John's in 1976 and received his master's degree in forestry from the University of Minnesota in 1979. Miles returned to Saint John's in 1979 as head coach of the cross country and track and field programs. He has produced a winning program that has finished among the MIAC's top two squads in 22 of the past 28 seasons, including 9 MIAC titles. At the national level, Miles' teams have gained 17 top-15 finishes at the NCAA Division III meet and have produced 17 All-Americans.
Blazer/Johnnie Runners - An experienced coaching staff of former and current CSB/SJU runners will be working the camp. In the past, the CSB/SJU Cross Country Camp has been able to enlist the services of extremely successful men and women coaches to assist you.
