High School: A 2007 graduate of Rochester Lourdes High School, Leyendecker was coached Doc Johnson … participated in ice hockey (four years), softball (four years) and volleyball (one year) during her athletic career at Rochester Lourdes high school … holds the records for most steals, batting average and most singles at Rochester Lourdes High School … three-time All-Big 9 Conference selection in ice hockey and softball … four-time letter winner in ice hockey and softball … team MVP in ice hockey and softball … Herb Brooks Award nominee and Hobey Baker Award recipient … member of the Rochester Lourdes-Mayo girls hockey team that were two-time Big 9 conference champions, Section 1-2A champions and State participants in 2005 and 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Mary and Dennis Leyendecker of Rochester, Minn. … enjoys camping, rollerblading, and spending time with family and friends … member of the Blazer ice hockey team … majoring in elementary education with a minor in coaching.
