Named Blazer Athlete of the Week (April 11, 2006)
connected for a pinch-hit grand slam in a 6-1 victory over Hamline (April 8, 2006)
went 2-for-3 at the plate in 8-0 win over Carleton
connected for another home run against Gustavus (May 2, 2006).
2005: Batted .310 for the Blazers in her first-year ... started in 19 games and also made one pitching appearance were she earned a victory ... had 18 hits on the season, seven being extra-base hits ... scored nine runs and batted in 12 ... only committed two fielding errors and showed strong defensive abilities during the season.
High School: A 2004 graduate of the Convent of the Visitation High School School, Devoy was coached by Ted Cheesebrough
participated in softball (four years), ice hockey (six years) and volleyball (three years) during her athletic career at the Convent of the Visitation High School ... captained and was named team MVP of her high school softball team ... was a two-time All-Tri-Metro Conference softball team selection
recipient of the 2004 St. Paul Area Athena Award, which is awarded to outstanding female athletes in the Twin Cities Area ... three sport letter winner ... also named to the All-Tri-Metro Conference hockey team.
Personal: Daughter of Luz and Kimball Devoy of Mendota Heights, Minn.

majoring in political science with a minor in English.
Proudest moment of her softball career: Hitting the pinch-hit grand slam after falling 0-2 in the count against Hamline last season.
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? I like that I can still play the sport I love and continue to focus on my future at the same time.
