2008: Two-sport athlete at the College of Saint Benedict … will see time at the corner infield and outfield positions for the Blazers this spring … has the ability to drive the ball and drive in runners … will be a contributor to the middle of the Saint Benedict batting order. 
High School: A 2007 graduate of Buffalo Lake-Hector High School, Kubesh was coached by Bryan Lade … participated in basketball (three years) and softball (four years) during her athletic career at Buffalo Lake-Hector … named team MVP of her softball team her junior and senior years … was a two-time All-Tomahawk Conference honorable mention in basketball … named to the Academic All-Tomahawk Conference basketball team her junior year … named to the KDUZ and West Central Tribune All-Area girls basketball team her senior year … three-time All-Section softball team selection.
Personal: Daughter of Karen and Charles Kubesh of Buffalo Lake, Minn. … enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the guitar and reading … member of the Blazer basketball team … majoring in psychology.
Proudest moment of her softball career: “Being named to the All-Section softball team three consecutive years.”
