#13 Molly Bodeker

Junior ... Catcher ... Eagan, Minn. (Eagan)

2008: Will be the starting catcher for the Blazers this spring … has improved her offensive abilities and has become one of Saint Benedict’s best hitters … will be a threat in the middle of the Blazers’ batting order this spring … works well with the pitchers.
2007: Made 20 starts for the Blazers … recorded 17 hits and scored five runs … collected four doubles and 10 RBI’s … made only one error behind the plate and posted a .990 fielding percentage.
2006: Played in eight and started in four games for Saint Benedict … scored one run and had two total runs batted in … provided the Blazers with depth at the catcher position and worked well with the pitching staff.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Eagan High School, Bodeker was coached by Sandy Hilyer ... participated is softball (four years), volleyball (four years) and basketball (one year) during her athletic career at Eagan High School ... was an All-Lakes Conference softball team selection ... All-State softball team honorable mention ... member of the Eagan volleyball team that won a State Championship in Class 3A.
Personal: Daughter of Kathy and Randy Bodeker of Eagan, Minn. ... mother attended CSB ... involved with Students in Free Enterprise at CSB/SJU … enjoys volleyball, photography and spending time with family and friends ... majoring in communication with a minor in management.
Proudest moment of her softball career: “Being a member of the Blazer softball team and playing in the 2005 Minnesota High School Softball All-Star Game.”
What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? “It’s exciting to get to know your teammates that you practice and play with everyday.”
