Junior outfielder Jillian Rigg (Billings, Mont. / Central Catholic) was 2-for-3 to lead St. Benedict.
Junior pitcher Andrea Fahey (Little Canada, Minn. / St. Bernard’s) picked up the loss in a game where she allowed three earned runs and struck out six.

Hamline scored first with two runs in the fourth inning.
First-year Elle Borba (Ontario Calif. / St. Lucy’s Priory) pitched herself out of trouble and kept the Blazers within striking distance.
Saint Benedict answered the Pipers first two runs with a run of their own in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Borba was 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate for the Blazers. Junior Molly Bodeker (Eagan, Minn. / Eagan) was also 2-for-3 with a run scored and RBI.
CSB’s two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth made the score 4-3 heading into the last inning.
Hamline’s Sara Mickelson hit a two run homerun in the top of the seventh, which silenced the Blazers’ momentum.
Borba finished with two strikeouts on the mound and yielded four earned runs.
The Blazers are next in action 4 p.m. Friday, April 25 with a series against Carleton in Northfield.
