Sophomore infielder Beth Hanson (Faribault, Minn. / Bethlehem Academy) was 3-for-3 in the Blazers’ 5-1 win over the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Saturday at the Osceola Softball Complex in Orlando, Fla.
Junior Andrea Fahey (Little Canada, Minn. / St. Bernard’s) picked up the pitching decision striking out two and yielding one unearned run to lead CSB (0-0 MIAC, 4-7 overall).
The Blazers dropped their second game to Otterbein (Ohio) 7-1. First-year Tanya Croger (Duluth, Minn. / Duluth Denfeld) collected Saint Benedict’s two hits in the contest.
Saturday was the Blazers’ final day at the Rebel Games and will open their MIAC schedule 1 p.m. Mar. 29 at Augsburg.
