Bill Kelly takes over the reins of head coach to lead the Blazers in a 13-3-3 overall record and 7-2-1 MIAC record. Nine times during the soccer season the final outcome was determined by one goal or less, and only twice were the Blazers on the short of the score. Defense was the name of the game for CSB - score a quick goal and get the lead -- then keep the opponent from scoring and go home a winner. That strategy seemed to be work very well since Saint Ben’s was knocking on the door of a conference championship and a berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Katie Boyd, Amy Dorniden and Lise Grefe earned themselves All-MIAC honors along with All-Region honors.
