CSB soccer fans needed a roster to learn all the names on this year's team since there were so many new faces. The first new face was head coach Laure Schingen. In her initial season, she guided the Blazers to an 11-7 overall record, an 8-2 mark in the MIAC and a second place tie in the conference. CSB was nearly back in the NCAA Tournament after a three year absence.
Schingen’s task in her second season at CSB will be to replace three key graduating seniors that have played a major role in the current development of the soccer program. Expect the success of the 1994 squad to be in the sophomore and junior classes.
Schingen became the first woman in Minnesota to earn her National "A" License, which is the top certificate given to soccer coaches by the United States Soccer Federation.
Sharon Welle, Laura Snyder and Colleen Carey earn All-MIAC and All-Region honors.
