Good Results At NCAA 5K Skate

The Nordic Ski team took a ride to northern Minnesota for the NCAA Regional Championships in the Skate 5K this weekend. The Blazers finished in 6th place as a team with a total of 44 points.

Sophomore Anna Roessler (Grand Rapids, Minn./ Grand Rapids) finished with a time of 17:05.6 leading the Blazers, giving her a 12th place finish. Sophomore Christi Nowak (Dayton, Minn./ Rogers) finished in 16th place in the 5Koverall with a finishing time of 17:21.4. Junior Rebecca Mueller (Brainerd, Minn./ Brainerd) came in 38th place with a time of 18:35.1. Sophomore Katelyn Engel (Plymouth, Minn./ Wayzata) finished not so far behind taking a 44th place finish with a time of19:04.1. Junior Makenzie Wright (Wayzata, Minn./ Wayzata) finished in 47th place with a time of 19:17.0. First year Stephani Seymour (Plymouth, Minn./ Wayzata) crossed the line right behind and took 48th place and first year Sara Kingston (Maple Grove, Minn./ Wayzata) finished in 54th place.

The Classical 10K NCAA qualifiers take place Feb, 17th at Giants Ridge.
