7th Place At Telemark

The Blazer Nordic ski team took home 7th place from Cable, Wisconsin at the Telemark Lodge this past weekend. The Blazers finished with 42 team points; just two points shy of 6th place finisher St. Olaf.

 In the Women’s 5K, sophomore Christi Nowak (Dayton, Minn. /Rogers H.S.) once again led the Blazer’s finishing 32nd place with a finishing time of 0:17:35.4. Right behind her was fellow sophomoreAnna Roessler (Grand Rapids, Minn. /Grand Rapids H.S.) who placed 33rd with a time of 0:17:39.3. Junior, Rebecca Mueller (Brainerd, Minn. /Brainerd H.S.) came in 67th place with a time of 0:18:49.9, sophomore Katelyn Engel (Plymouth, Minn. /Wayzata H.S.) finished with a time of 0:19:43.2 giving her a 86th place finish and Stephani Seymour, Makenzie Wright and Kimberly Eskuri finished in 87th, 96th and 107th respectfully.

Roessler (Grand Rapids, Minn. / Grand Rapids H.S.) finished first for the Blazers in the Women’s 10K Super tour Classic by coming in 36th place with a time of 0:35:0.0. Nowak (Dayton, Minn. /Rogers H.S.) finished with a time of 0:35:29.0 that gave her a 46th place finish. Finishing with a time of 0:37:22.0 and placing 72nd was first-year Seymour (Plymouth, Minn. /Wayzata H.S.). Mueller (Brainerd, Minn. /Brainerd H.S.) finished in 79th place with a time of  0:37:39.0. Junior Makenzie Wright came in 90th place with a finishing time of 0:38:40.0 and first-year Kimberly Eskuri (Lakeville, Minn. /Wayzata H.S.) finished with a time of 0:41:47.0 giving her a 99th place finish.

February 9th the CSB Nordic Ski team will continue on the trails when they hit the Graystone Trails in Saint Cloud, Minn.
