The College of Saint Benedict Nordic ski team finished with 62 team points, giving the Blazers a second place finish behind Gustavus at the Saint’s Invitational this past weekend. Sophomore Christi Nowak (Dayton, Minn/ Rogers High School) led the Blazers by finishing with a time of 0:18:12.0, giving her a 5th place finish overall.
Sophomore Anna Roessler (Grand Rapids, Minn/Grand Rapids High School) also finished in the top ten for the Blazers, taking a respectable 8th place with a finishing time of 0:18:53.0. Rebecca Mueller (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd High School), a junior, came in 12th place with a time of 0:19:24.6. Other finishers for CSB were Katelyn Engel (Plymouth, Minn/Wayzata High School) taking 21st place, Stephani Seymour taking 25th place, Makenzie Wright finishing in 28th place, Rita White (Shoreview, Minn/Roseville Area High School) finishing in 31st place, Kathryn Torchia right behind taking 32nd place and Sara Kingston earned a 35th place finish.
The Blazers hope to keep ripping up the trails as they continue with their season on Jan. 19th at the NorAm Super Tour in Grand Rapids, Minn.
