- 1975: Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Minnesota State University Moorhead
Coaching Experience:
- 1985-1999: Served as head volleyball coach at the College of Saint Benedict
- 1975-1984: Ten seasons as St. Cloud Technical High School Head Volleyball Coach. Includes seven of ten years in region finals and four state tournament appearances.
Additional Honors:
- 2005: College of St. Benedict Extraordinary Performance Award
- 2004: CSB Hall of Fame as coach of the 1987 volleyball team- CSB's first MIAC Championship team
- 2003: Central Lakes College Hall of fame
- 2002: Received recognition for leadership and support of Girls and Women in Sports Day
- 2001: Inducted into the Minnesota State University Moorhead Hall of Fame
- 1998: Inducted into St. Cloud Technical High School Hall of Fame
- 1996: Charter Member MN High School Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame
- 1995: St. Cloud Technical High School Breaking Barriers Award
